Values anyone? All say yes. Mad at the system.....system who?
If someone tells you they will always vote for the best candidate regardless
of party affiliation, they certainly have a head on their shoulders, but chances are,
they arn't a registered Republican. On the other hand, there are deep familial ties
that run generations deep, and 'community deep'. So what's a generation
to do if the candidate, well, 'chews' the baby bottle so to speak. Yes, the great
sucking sound throughout America.
Fact is, its a tough daily fight in the ranks of American Society and Democracy.
Hardly laid back....and never skipping a beat, its a lifestyle of mental battle....
in the truest sense. Nothing is easy in a democracy.
And nothing is easy these days.
Predicting polls may not be as important as predicting the future of the country
however. Ask someone who has a head on their shoulders......someone who
knows what needs to be done, changed, repaired, and fixed, planned with
diligent responsibility. They see the dominoes. We start by looking at the record. From there predictions
begin. Would we have predicted that the price tag of billions monthly, during
the Bush administration to remove Saddam Hussein, would bankrupt the economy....maybe. What about
the duration of the war....probably, hoping not. What about the affects of the
2008 gasoline prices of $149 per barrel....probably. Nobrainers.
Now, Obama, or any Democratic president for that matter, faces the critics.....
of Third generation republicans. Not the grand old party. This time its with
determination of utter Democratic failure at any cost. Can we afford it?
Who is liable here? The fact is, noone can afford it and politics as usual need
to change, or we're heading down. A prediction based on action....no guesswork.
Just facing the music.
