Its a swamp....people are leaving. Have you forgotten the stories, and what is
Where to drill? Considering what the Florida peninsula is, does it hold oil?
You can sure grow sugar around the edges. Pipe the East coast waste and
sewage to Florida, to the swamp that it is, as the coral reefs are dying there
anyway, and those 'king fish' or whatever they are called, are destroying
the environment in the ocean anyway. Sounds rash, but environmentalists know
what is happening. Lets see, the Carolina's have 40 some deadly snakes. Yuk!
Seems there is no way to fix the environmental problems, not talking about
crocodiles and alligators or Burmese stuff, well maybe, and get to work on
This is the only country in the world that has private ownership of
its oil, and they control it and their self-power with politics while we watch.
I'm sure they drive a deeper argument, but there still remains the entire
gamete which needs reform, such as national security.
Is it too much of a fight between the oil Companies, and who will gain?
Bad habits may be hard to break. It doesn't exactly hurt to have
U.S. owned interests too. That isn't a socialist takeover. Not even close.
Though the media will sure run with that one instead of the actual story.
The country already has the land, conservation rights areas that are
not private property. Isn't there a better way to give an alligator a little space
and freedom? The beaches won't go away. Its a swamp......
You say, "thats what people come to see, the tourism". Good.
Drill the deep ones there, and the a-biotic stuff, and get a U.S. economy,
not only for the oil workers, but money for the U.S. budget like other countries do
for social security and its retired workers.
People are leaving that swamp, built as Americas great retirement mecca.........
